This is a gorgeous 1950s era dress made with a top layer of lace over a acetate taffeta base.  The dress is sleeveless and has black velvet trim around the square neckline that extends down under the lace to exit as ribbon under the bust and cross at the waist, with a bow at the waist.  The bodice is studded with rhinestones.  The upper back is open in a V shape, also trimmed in black velvet with a bow at the bottom.  The dress was posed with a crinoline underneath - no crinoline is provided, so to get the same 50s full skirt look you would need to own or acquire a crinoline.  The dress does up the back with a metal zipper.

Sizing:  No size is indicated, but this should fit a medium size - please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the garment into consideration:

Bust:  34” around

Waist:  26” around 

Hips:  38” around, meant to fall loosely supported by a crinoline

Overall length: 42", measured flat from the top of the shoulder straps to the hemline

Condition:  This dress is in very good condition with no wear, tear or odour - it looks like it was maybe worn once for a special occasion and well stored over the years.
